Draconian were finally back on tour through the freezing European winter after three years since the release of their masterpiece Sovran.
The Evening was opened by melancholic black metal band Sojourner. Followed by Austrian post black metal band Harakiri for the Sky, featuring Torsten from Nocte Obducta and Agrypnie on vocals.
Singer Heike Langhans could finally make it on tour after having visa issues the last years. Her beautiful voice, togheter with the growls of Anders Jacobsson make a perfect combination. This line-up of Draconian was totally worth the long wait! Crushing doom together with those fragile gothic metal elements – a perfect combination, that did never get boring or too much. Draconian manage to walk the thin perfectly with their masterful compositions, compared to other bands of this genre. A great evening with a flawless performance of Draconians harsh and enchanting songs! We hope they are back soon with their new record.
